I decided to spend my birthday in Las Vegas this year, which was kind of a last-minute decision but it worked out perfectly. Some friends met me there, and because it was the weekend of the Consumer Electronics Show, there were tons of brand parties and private parties we were able to attend. I stayed in the Parlour Suite at The Cromwell which was luxurious beyond measure. According to The Cromwell, “The Parlour Suite measures 723 square feet and features a dining and living room area attached to the bedroom. Displaying modern and retro décor with a Parisian touch, this suite has hardwood floors and vintage trunk-style furnishings. ” The suite was HUGE, as you can see from the video above, with a large sitting area and dining area along with a massive bedroom which featured a stand-alone tub. I was able to see the Bellagio fountains from my room, which was important to me since it’s become a bit of a tradition to watch the fountains on my birthday. My favorite part of the room, bar none, was the bathroom with its massive steam shower and dressing area. I’ve stayed in many rooms in Vegas that tried really hard to capture the European aesthetic but came off as pretty cheesy. The Cromwell did not, managing to be both Old World and Modern Luxury at the same time. Check it out on your next visit to Vegas.
My many thanks to The Cromwell for hosting me on my Birthday weekend!
